Financial Officer (Offer closes Jan 2nd, 2015)

The Financial Officer will be responsible for the full accounting cycle up to and including monthly financial reports, payroll, sales and deposit reconciliations, A/P / A/R, G/L account reconciliations and analysis, government remittances and reports, and year-end audit reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years accounting experience in a small to medium sized business (charitable or not-for-profit experience would be considered an asset); Demonstrated proficiency in computerized accounting (Adagio) and payroll software; and MS Office (Excel); Ability to identify priorities, multitask and to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; Excellent computer skills, communication, organization and time-management skills.
